DIFFERENT TYPES OF HAIR EXTENSIONS AND INSTALLATION METHODS

We are about to change your life. No more bad hair days for you! What you need are some extensions. Why? Because they come in amazing textures and origins giving length and volume to your hair. With our hair extensions, you’re sure to find the perfect match for your style. Installing hair extensions is best done by professional. There are six types of extension installation: Tape-ins, Micro links hair, Weave with leave out, Weave with closure/frontal, Wigs with Closure/Frontal, and U-Part Wigs. Keep reading to know the best type for you

1. Tape-ins

One type of hair extension is the tape-in extension. Tape-in extensions are created by pre-taping one to one and a half-inch length of hair to your own hair with medical-grade glue. To ensure that the glue will cling to your hair, the extensions must be applied to clean hair. After your hair has been straightened or blown dry, a certified cosmetologist will “sandwich” the two wefts of extensions with your hair in between.

Depending on the quality of the extensions and how much new growth you have, tape-in extensions can last for eight to ten weeks. Once your hair has grown out substantially, a professional must remove the extension.

2. Micro links Hair

Micro links are a fairly new type of extension, and they're my favorite because they look so natural! They’re tiny silicone or metal beads that attach individual strands of the hair bundle weft to small sections of your natural hair. The beads are applied at the root of each section, and then the actual extension is either attached with links or stitched into place.

It's important to find a qualified hairstylist who has experience with this type of installation. The process of micro linking could take several hours, but the end result is worth it!

3. Weave With Leave Out

Leave-out hair is when you take a portion of your natural hair and weave it around the extensions to make them look more natural. For example, the hair extension is sewn into cornrows that are close to the scalp, with a few inches left out in the front to allow for a natural-looking hairline. This can also be done with a U-part wig. It's a great way to hide your extensions and make them look more like your real hair

4. Weave With Closure/Frontal

For a natural way to style your hair, consider a lace closure or lace frontal.

These are the best option for women who prefer middle parts. The closure standards often have the dimensions of a perfect square like 4x4, 5x5 inches.
A lace frontal is lace that extends from ear to ear. A lace frontal can be 13x4 or 13x6 inches in size. Usually closures and frontals are stitched together using three to four bundles of hair. Both lace closures and lace frontals are incredibly adaptable and can be used to achieve various hairstyles.

5. Wigs with Closure/Frontal

A closure wig is a full wig with a small front section designed to cover your hairline. This small section is called a closure, and it is made of HD or transparant lace. A closure gives the appearance of a natural hairline and allows you to wear your hair in a high ponytail or up in a bun without any of your natural hair showing. When proper installed.

A frontal wig is similar to a closure wig, but it has a larger front section covering your entire forehead. Frontals are usually made of HD or transparant lace, and they also give the appearance of a natural hairline. Frontals may require less hair bundles to achieve a full, voluminous look.

6. U-Part Wigs

If you're looking for a new way to add some length and volume to your hair, then you should check out U-Part wigs! These wigs are really popular right now, and for a good reason - they're easy to use, and they look really natural. Plus, you can doll them up or down in various styles for a different look whenever you want.

U-Part wigs are hairpieces with clips on the underside and are sewed into a U-shaped wig cap, which has a delicate mesh that helps to keep the wig in place and looking natural. U-Part wigs come in a variety of sizes. Best of all, you don't have to spend hours in front of the mirror trying to get everything just right - you can simply put on the wig and go. Plus, because your natural hair is covering the U-Part wig, it will give you an extra natural look.

If you need a new way to style your hair, then U-Part wigs are a great option for anyone who wants to change their look without spending much time.
